Terms of Service
Last updated October 23, 2026 · Privacy Policy
The short version
- Previews are free. Territory Runs cost $2 per qualified lead ($49 minimum); rejects are never charged.
- Use the data for your own company’s sales and marketing. Don’t resell it.
- You’re responsible for following email, calling and texting laws when you reach out.
- Results are evidence-backed but can be wrong; our guarantees cover leads that don’t match.
1.Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Sieve (“we”, “us”). By using sieveleads.com or buying from us, you accept them. If you use Sieve for a company, you confirm you’re authorized to accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that company.
Sieve is for business use by people 18 and older. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
2.What Sieve provides
- Free previews: up to 5 qualified leads on your criteria, with a territory estimate.
- Territory Runs: every qualified lead we find for your criteria in the counties you pick, as a report and downloadable files.
- Market Maps: a done-for-you service with a recurring feed of qualified accounts, scoped with you in writing before it starts.
Sieve covers New Jersey. Results come from public business listings, businesses’ own websites and automated analysis. We may change or improve features over time; we won’t reduce what you’ve already paid for.
3.Reports and links
Sieve doesn’t use accounts. Each preview and report has its own private link, and anyone who has the link can open it, so share it only with people you want to see it. Ask us if you want a report deleted.
4.Prices and payment
Territory Runs
- $2 per qualified lead, with a $49 minimum per run. Businesses that don’t qualify are never charged.
- At checkout we place a temporary hold on your card for the top of your estimate. When the run finishes we charge $2 for each lead that qualified, never more than the hold, and release the rest. If nothing qualifies, we release the whole hold.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars, and you’re responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
Market Maps
- $2,500 a month unless we agree a different price in writing. The first 90 days are a pilot, billed as 3 monthly payments. After the pilot it continues month to month until either of us cancels.
- You can cancel by emailing us before your next billing date; the service runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for. Fees already paid aren’t refunded except under a guarantee below.
5.Guarantees
- Pay-for-Gold Guarantee (Territory Run and Market Map): You're never billed for rejects. If a lead you paid for doesn't match your criteria, or its email hard-bounces, reply to your receipt within 30 days and we credit it 2×.
- 24-Hour Delivery (Territory Run): Your full run lands within 24 hours of payment, or the run is free.
- Map-Size Guarantee (Market Map): We quote the number of qualified accounts before kickoff. If the map comes in under 90% of the quote, your first month is free.
- Free Re-Refine (Territory Run): reply to your receipt with new criteria within 14 days and we re-run the same counties once at no charge.
To claim any of these, reply to your receipt or email hello@sieveleads.com. Credits apply to future Sieve purchases and have no cash value. A free run or free month means we refund or don’t charge that amount.
6.How you may use the data
When you pay for a run, we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use its data for your own company’s sales, marketing and business development, for as long as you like.
You may not:
- resell, sublicense, publish or give away the data as a list or dataset, or include it in a product you offer to others;
- use it to build or improve a competing lead or business-data service;
- combine it with other data to build profiles of people outside their business role.
7.Your outreach and acceptable use
You’re responsible for how you contact businesses on our lists, and you agree to follow the laws that apply, including:
- CAN-SPAM for email: say who you are, include your physical address and a working opt-out, and honor opt-outs within 10 business days.
- The TCPA and Do-Not-Call rules for calls and texts: no autodialed or prerecorded calls or texts to mobile numbers without the consent the law requires.
- State laws on marketing, privacy and consumer protection.
You also agree not to:
- use Sieve data to decide anyone’s eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or anything else covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Sieve is not a consumer reporting agency;
- harass people, discriminate unlawfully, or send deceptive messages;
- keep contacting someone who has asked you to stop;
- scrape, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits;
- put other people’s personal information in prompts without a lawful reason.
We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.
8.Accuracy of results
Every qualified lead comes with the quote from its own website that got it through, so you can check it. Even so, results come from public sources and automated analysis and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. A fit score says how closely a business matches your criteria, not that it will buy. A mail-server check means the email domain accepts mail, not that a specific mailbox exists. Check what matters to you before relying on it; the Pay-for-Gold Guarantee is how we make good on leads that don’t match.
9.Territory Lock
While your Market Map is active, we won’t provide a Market Map for the same industry and counties to another client. Territory Lock starts when your map goes live and ends when your Market Map ends. It applies to Market Maps only; self-serve previews and Territory Runs stay open to everyone.
10.Ownership
We own the Sieve website, software, scoring methods and the compiled index. You keep ownership of what you give us, such as prompts and customer lists, and you let us use it to provide and improve the service. If you send suggestions, we can use them without obligation to you.
11.Other companies' services and sites
Sieve links to businesses’ own websites and relies on providers such as Stripe. We aren’t responsible for their content or services. Business names and trademarks in results belong to their owners and appear only to identify those businesses.
12.Disclaimers
Apart from the guarantees above, Sieve is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don’t promise any particular sales results.
13.Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about Sieve is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
14.Your responsibility for claims
If someone makes a claim against us because of how you used Sieve data, including your outreach, or because you broke these terms, you’ll cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, including legal fees.
15.Governing law and disputes
New Jersey law governs these terms. If there’s a problem, email us first and we’ll try to resolve it within 30 days. If we can’t, either of us may bring a claim in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and we both agree to those courts’ jurisdiction.
16.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Changes don’t apply to runs you’ve already paid for. For Market Maps, material changes apply from your next billing period, and we’ll tell you about them first.
